The photographs are chromogenic prints (traditional color photographs) made with Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper. Kodak states it has a standard archival value of 100 years in home display, and 200 years in dark storage.
Matted and framed prints are coated to protect against UV and pollutants. They are mounted in a 2" white mat, and framed in a dark espresso, wooden frame with non-glare glass. Hanging hardware is installed, and the framed photograph is ready to hang.
Cropping and Print Sizes
Cropping is disabled for my fine art photographs.
Cropping is enabled for portrait clients' photographs. The entire photograph, as displayed in the gallery, is 2:3 aspect ratio (the shape of the rectangle). 2:3 aspect ratio = 4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 10x15, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, etc... These sizes will be displayed as "Best Fit", but other sizes are available. If you order wallets, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, or other sizes you may need to adjust the cropping. If you do not adjust the cropping the crop will be centered. For instance with an 8"x10" a centered crop would remove 1" from both the top and bottom of a vertical photo. Depending on subject matter and composition you may want to adjust this. Here is an example wedding photograph with various print sizes and crops marked (centered).
To find the cropping tool look for the link that says "Cropping: Centered (is it OK?)" below each print in your cart. Clicking on that link will bring up a preview of the selected photo, and allow you to adjust cropping.
If you have any questions about cropping please contact me before ordering.
